Waiting...
Hhmmm....And I think if you wait, and trust God, good things will happen
I do have a lot to say, but i will not, but will say something at least...
If good things come in a Flash it will also go in a Flash. But for those wait, it's a treat. It's like the Laughter that comes after the pain. Do we remember the pain, no we don't, but we do remember laughing. (at least I Do), but if we laugh first & then its pains, then we remember the pain, Same way Good things happen to people who wait. The waiting for Good things to happen is also like waiting for a baby to be born, the happiness that follows the pain. It's also the Waiting outside Archie's for Hour & hours in the heat & being told that you were forgotten coz of the busy schedule of people, but then happiness that follows in being with the one you love, makes the waiting worth while.
It's also like waiting to see your Christmas presents, or waiting for the ketchup to come out from the bottle to your sandwich, well, you can always rip open your presents before Christmas eve, and also shove a knife into your ketchup bottle to get it out, or use sauce instead, but then there is no thrill in that, is there? No I do not see the fruit of waiting, the taste differs, the quality of things we get differs when it comes too fast. There is no lingering happiness when things come too fast. That's why sad things happen in a flash so that it gets replaced by the nice, good things and that lingers. What if the Good things happen in a Flash and the sadness lingers, what happens then?
There is a saying: A watched pot never boils.
It's something that you say which means if you wait anxiously for something to happen, it seems to take a very long time. (in reality, it'll take the same amount of time to boil as an unwatched pot, but it just seems longer because you're there looking at it.) So just continue to do what you have to do & it will come to you, the good stuff.
Waiting is "Patience" and Patience is a Virtue, which very very few people have. It make it easier for a person with this virtue to understand Waiting, coz they know the end result, and that it will be good.
Everyone gets their chance to get Good things in life in a Flash, but no one realizes it coz it also goes in a Flash.
When we pray or talk to our God we often believe we do not receive an answer, because we sometimes feel our prayers are not answered. The fact is that God listens all the time to our prayers. . .we only need to wait.
Good things come to those who have trust in God. Good things do not come to those who are impatient and are doing their own thing, but it does come to those who wait. . .for God to speak to them and allow God to work in their life.
Abraham waited for Isaac, Zacharias waited for his son John the Baptist, Israel waited for Elijah and for the Messiah. We can have hope: Good things come to those who wait. . .because the promise of God is that God works in all things for the good. . . for us!
So Just hang on & we'll make it big time!!

It seems all I ever do sometimes is wait.......especially for things I want most! Why is there always some delay when there is an equal amount of expectation. Unnecessary & not so good things happen in flash before u even have the time to anticipate or ponder ......but for something good to happen u wait & wait & wait......endlessly.....disappointingly .......anxiously........why??

The Dark Knight
in 2008, the Sequel for Batman Begins, THE DARK KNIGHT is going to be released. Starring, Christian Bale as Batman and Maggie Gyllenhaal as Rachel Dawes. This time there is Joker as the villain. have to watch it, with the boys.

Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr... The Indian Postal Department
Sent a parcel of goodies home, and its like 15 days & it hasn't reached home as yet. Asked my wife to call the local post office back home in Chennai and they snarl back, guess she woke them up and disturbed their earned sleep. (earned sleep = the govt. pays these s*&kers to sleep) ( when we call to enquiry, they snarl back). Now that guy will take some more time to go back to sleep and continue his dreams... till some other poor soul calls the post office to find out something, thinking that these people are all nice. Man India just sucks you know...
But then it is always better to come from the top, call the main offices, thrown in some names and they get all working and active, like I called in later on from the UAE (coz my wife was like "these people are getting on my nerves"), called the Foreign Post& Mktg dept, and asked for the director by name and they were like yes sir, immediately sir, sir, sir, sir....
Anyways, they said that they will check with the PO near the airport and get back by tomorrow afternoon. fingers crossed again...

Going home...
Will be going home soon. Hopefully for Easter. Fingers crossed.

The Iran Standoff
Been following this Iran Stuff and the latest Kidnapping (Capture) of UK Sailors.
I see the latest history repeating itself, remember how Hezbollah kidnapped the Israeli Soldier and made Israel attack Lebanon. They were ready for it, they knew Israel would attack them and were prepared, planned it well to make Israel, US, UK or whoever supported Israel look bad.
That's the same thing happening here in Iran, they go out & Kidnap these sailors, stage-manage video footage to show that these people sailed into their waters illegally. I am sure that there are guns aimed at them when these guys are made to talk in front of the TV, Just like how the terrorists do when they kidnap innocents.
UK/US should not give into them, should not be lured into their trap, I am sure that they are ready & waiting for an attack. I am sure that they have it all planned on how to manipulate the world in believing they were the victims. But then again, if no diplomatic solution falls in place, then these guys will be charged as spies and sent to rot in Iranian prisons, and God knows what will happen to them.
They are trying to get sympathy from the rest of the Arab world.
What UK/US should do is, show them (Iran) as a terrorist nation, simple, the TV channels should show comparative footage of similar terrorist footage and the current official Iranian footage. I believe, this was shown only on the Arabic Channels and not on the Farsi Channel, coz they do not care about the people, they want to make their Nuclear Weapons and now they are buying time, but getting the world to focus on these sailors and not their Nuclear program, which is happening parallely in the background.
This latest act by Iran clearly shows that they support terrorism, & they are a terrorist state. The world should stop having to do any thing with Iran, stop every transaction with them, alienate them.
If the Iranian supporters in the UK stage a protest, arrest them, strip them off the citizenship and send them packing to their country. They want to live in foreign countries, and make money but don;t want to support them, take them off, UK will save a lot by this. But before that, UK has to get their people out of Iran. Otherwise things can get bad for them there.
UK can also do one more thing, go down to the Iranian embassy, get the Iranians working there or any Iranians (Arabic Speaking, mind you that is important), charge them as spies and make them confess on TV, then see how the Iranians react to that. Then you can have an exchange program, send these guys packing off from your country & get your people back. This happens all the time between India and Pakistan, one of them finds a spy & immediately, conveniently, the next day the other one finds a spy too. Bingo!! you're on! you're turn.
Well, there is also another option, go in with special forces and get them out, I am sure that these kidnapped people are being guarded 24x7, I'm sure UK and US have ways of finding out locations based on heat sensors & stuff, find the location, & go in & get them out. get the location based on activity happening out there, I am sure that there the professional spies out there in Iran and they can get info on probable location. It should be a simple job, create a diversion for the Iranians, think of something (or maybe if I think of something I will let people know) & get these guys out of there, then tell the world the real story.
I also think that UK should look at getting world-wise sympathy. Prove that this happened in Iraqi waters and not on Iranian, get the world to freeze all Iranian financial assets, if they exist in US/UK/Germany/France, anywhere and get a total embargo on the export of Oil from Iran, be it by sea, air or land or pipes, buy the oil at a little higher price from other countries like UAE, Saudi, ask them to produce more, this will help countries like UAE and Saudi make even more money, & when Iran sees that they are losing out in the world, they will come crawling.
This should also be a warning for the other Arab nations, They should understand that once Iran goes Nuclear, then they will rule the rest of the nations, Hezbollah will stick to Iran and will start attacking Israel, & it will be chaos there in the Middle East. I think the Arab countries that got together to give Israel a proposal, should intervene and get these people out of there. Before all Hell breaks loose. Beware Saudi, Iran goes Nuclear, they will come after your country, that goes for UAE too.
Finally, I think the Iranians have to grow up, & let these kidnapped or captured people go & let people do their jobs, then we can all go home, care about other serious issues like Global Warming and how to save out world.

What I would like most for my B'day
To be surrounded by Love - My hubby
